My 5 Favorite Hotels with Water Views

Hotel-rooms-with-WATER-VIEWS

One of my favorite vacations includes water, shorelines, and the sound they make when they come into contact with one another. You know you are on vacation when you fall asleep to the sound of lapping waves. Or wake to the sounds of seagulls flying overhead. Hotels and resorts have built rooms with a picture window outward to the sea and beyond, harnessing the magic of Mother Nature.

Kos Aktis Art Hotel, Kos Greece

I went on an amazing trip to the beautiful Greek islands of Santorini and Kos. I stayed at the stunning Kos Aktis Art Hotel, where I had incredible views of the ocean. Exploring Kos from one end to the other was fascinating. Its ancient Greek statues, ruins, and not-so-well-preserved Roman columns revealed the island’s history. The overnight ferry ride to Santorini was extremely comfortable. And I felt relaxed and at home at the Blue Bay Villas Hotel. One of the highlights was savoring the delicious Greek gyros and lounging on the unique black-sand beaches. Riding the mules up the cliffs of Santorini was interesting. And the sunsets in the charming village of Oia were simply breathtaking. As a result, this trip allowed me to truly connect with the rich history, vibrant culture, and stunning natural beauty of these incredible islands.

Sostio A. Levante, Framura Italy

The Sostio A Levante is located in the picturesque Cinque Terre of Italy. It is the ultimate destination for an enchanting girlfriend, a hiking trip, or both. Not surprisingly, this unique agriturismo, or working farm, will always be one of my favorite hotels. It rests at a height of 1312 feet above sea level in Framura and is enveloped by flourishing vineyards. The establishment creates its own exquisite Golfo dei Poeti Terre di Framura wine, oil, honey, and cheese. And all of them exemplified a genuine taste of the Italian countryside. However, the main attraction is the phenomenal dining experience. There is a no-menu policy. So each meal is a complete surprise.

Dining reservations are recommended. We booked seats every night without knowing how much it would cost. However, on the final day, we were presented with a bill. It was approximately $25 each. And that included two bottles of wine nightly. The mouth-watering fare and breathtaking setting was a steal. I would be willing to pay double the price for such an immersive and savory experience. Each meal was more delicious than the last.

Grand Hotel, Torquay, United Kingdom

There’s a special hotel called the Grand Hotel in Torquay, United Kingdom. The hotel is located in an area called the British Riviera, which has 22 miles of stunning coastline. You can find it by heading south past Stonehenge. This hotel is anything but boring; it’s lively, colorful, and has its own unique charm. What’s really cool is that each of the 132 rooms is different from the others. The hotel has been around for more than 130 years. It is surrounded by lots of sunshine, palm trees, and tropical flowers. It’s situated high up, overlooking the pier and beautiful gardens. However, it’s quite unusual to have a place with sub-tropical vibes in the UK! Fun fact: Agatha Christie spent her honeymoon at this Victorian-era hotel.

International Hanoi Westlake, Hanoi Vietnam

The Intercontinental Hotels are well-known for their style. And the Hanoi Westlake is no different, offering a breathtaking view of Hanoi’s largest lake. Many of the rooms are positioned right on the water’s edge, providing a serene setting. During the day, I could spend hours mesmerized by the beautiful light and reflections on the hotel’s lake. The shimmering waters create a captivating scene that adds an extra touch of enchantment to the surroundings. At night, the moonlight gracefully glistens on the water, casting a magical glow that ebbed ever so slightly. It’s the perfect place to escape the chaos of the city. Easy to unwind immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the hotel.

Final Thoughts

Hotels and resorts have long recognized the profound effect that water views can have on the overall experience of their guests. The captivating allure of the ocean waves lure me to sleep. The enchanting charm of a riverside setting inspires me. These scenic views possess a remarkable ability to elevate and enrich our stay. When I embark on my quest for the perfect hotel, water views is always a significant factor that I consider. I love thought of waking up to the sight of shimmering waters. And I enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the horizon. It fills me with a sense of anticipation and delight. There is an undeniable and timeless allure to these vistas. And their presence adds an extra layer of serenity to any travel experience.

Oh wow! This post makes me want to pack my bags and go to a place where there’s a lot of sun and sand! I think it’s nice to live near the beach if you’re visiting a tropical island. There’s nothing better than waking up in the morning and walking along the shore.

I love a water view when I stay at a hotel! My most recent favorite water view was of Niagara Falls at the Marriott Niagara Fallsview – it was the first time I had a waterfall view!

Nothing beats a sea view. I’m quite lucky in that I have one from my kitchen and living room windows! Gorgeous spots for holidaying, these ideas, thanks for that! 🙂

Yes you are. I had a river view from our home in Virginia which was nice, but a sea view is awesome,
